The main focus of her research was on increasing efficacy and improving delivery systems of Low Energy Photonic and Laser Therapy (LEPT) for numerous clinical applications including acute and chronic wound healing, chronic pain, and repetitive strain injuries. Her research (jointly with Dr. Norman Salansky) culminated in the development of Drs. Salansky Clinical Protocols for LEPT and LEP2000 Multi-Modality Therapeutic System for numerous applications in rehabilitation medicine. Ongoing clinical research (including double blind studies) suggests high efficacy of Drs. Salansky Clinical Protocols for chronic skin ulcers, pain, degenerative diseases (like “frozen shoulder”), and carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Salansky is a practicing clinician and assisted to many patients in full recovery from chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and chronic skin ulcers being able to prevent amputations in some cases. Dr. Salansky is a consultant to Toronto hospitals on the use of LEPT in rehabilitation medicine. Since 1992, she has been providing training courses on the use of LEPT to physicians, physiotherapists, and other health practitioners. Dr. N.
