DR. TOSHIO OSHIRO

 

 

 

DR. TOSHIO OHSHIRO was born in 1939 at Naha-City, Okinawa, Japan.  In 1965 he graduated from Keio University, School of Medicine and subsequently enrolled in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Keio University, School of Medicine in 1966.

• He established Japan Medical Laser Laboratory in 1975 and has been its Director, followed by the establishment of Ohshiro Clinic as its Director in 1977.

• In 1988 he became the First President of International Laser Therapy Association (ILTA) and Honorary President of World Association for Laser Therapy (WALT) in 1994.

• He is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Laser Therapy, President of the International Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (ISLSM), Vice Director of the Japan Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (JSLSM) and Secretary General of the World Federation of Societies for Laser Medicine and Surgery (WFSLMS).
