Emeritus Professor at the Camilo Castelo Branco University.  Doctor in Dentistry – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ- Brazil, Master in Dental Prosthesis – UNICASTELO-Brazil, and Specialist in Laser by the Rome Medical Association – Italy. He is the Chairman of the Discipline of Laser at Camilo Castelo Branco University Director of the Biomedical Laser Center of IP&D of the Vale do Paraíba University –UNIVAP (www.univap.br) Post-Graduation Professor of Master of Laser in Biomedicine at  ROVIRA I VIRGILI University – Spain Post-Graduation Professor of the Doctorate Course at the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA Guest Research Professor of the Endodontic Laboratory of the Ribeirão Preto Faculty of Dentistry – FORP – USP Senior Editor of the Journal Photomedicine and Laser therapy – USA.
