-The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center is an 850-bed tertiary care medical facility, with 400 Consultants and 300 Research Scientists, accredited by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) and recognized as the Center of Excellence for health care in the region

-The Hospital received several awards and recognitions for its commitment to integrated clinical performance & excellent patient care, research and Education, honored with the American Academy of Continuous Medical Education (AACME), Accreditation with Commendation & the Gold Seal of Accreditation

 

-The Department of Neurosciences:

provide world class comprehensive and multidisciplinary clinical service. It compromise of five sections and has more than 36 members of medical staff with different subspecialties.

The Department is a major referral center for management of Brain and Spinal Tumors, with expertise in comprehensive treatment of Gliomas, Meningiomas, Pituitary Tumors, Schwannomas, and Pediatric Brain Tumors as well as in complex neurovascular and spine and minimally invasive Neurosurgery. Modern OR-Facilities such as Brain Lab Neuro-Navigation System, Stereotactic Equipment, intraoperative NP- monitoring and more recently an intraoperative MRI was approved.

 

-Modern Imaging facilities include: Three 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners one is 3 Tesla MRI, five CT scanners, two modern Angiography suites, Gamma Camera, PET scan….

-State of the- art Laboratories including Neuropathology, molecular pathology, Genetic Laboratory….
